Hello to our nearest and dearest.
If you have received this link we plan to have you hang out with us for the whole day, in Belfast on May 9th 2025 for our wedding.
You’re cordially invited to witness the life-altering, legally binding, totally romantic exchange of vows and all that jazz.
Plans are still in formation but there will be a humanist ceremony outside (in the field), there will be a big family meal (somewhere) where everyone in the core-four(ty) can get acquainted and have a laugh. From 6.30pm there will be the afterparty with more guests and more drinks, dancing and craic.
At the after-party, so the later guests don’t feel left out, we will throw in some wedding things: a sprinkle of speeches, thank yous and a first dance. There will be obligatory fun-tivities, decorations, cake and perhaps a few snacks.
Wear something you feel fabulous in, nothing too formal. Outfit changes are encouraged.
There will be a procession to the field. There might be rain, we’ll provide umbrellas. Think festival attire, comfortable shoes. Heels are no fun, don't bother with them.

Time: From about 12noon till late
Venue: One of Belfast’s finest parks in the beautiful month of May, followed by The Belfast Empire, Botanic Avenue, Belfast.
It will be, as they often say about life and marriage, a journey and an experience.

Belfast is a capital city - there are lots of options to suit all tastes and budgets near to the venue. We will make some enquiries and see if there are any good deals. check back later for updates
Parking nearby is tricky and hard to find so we encourage you to use public transport or taxis to and from the venue.
What about Gifts?
You don’t need to get us a gift. We just want you there to celebrate with us. If you really really want to give a gift then cash*, experiences, service I.O.U’s (got skills we lack? help us with life) or beautiful handmade art and objects will of course be most welcomed.

We love you all the most. So we will feed you delicious food. Fear not.
